What we're looking for

You have a completed mbo+ or hbo education in a financial or administrative direction
Two to three years of work experience within a project organization
You have experience with SAP or another ERP system
Because we are an international organization, we expect you to speak and write English well in addition to Dutch

The role

As a Project Controller at Omexom, you will work on high-voltage projects in the North-East of the Netherlands, with project scopes between €2 and €35 million. Projects that often run for several years; a new high-voltage substation, a grid expansion, a renovation that cannot stand still.

You are the one who maintains financial control. You work closely with project managers who steer based on planning and execution. You steer based on the figures behind them: you monitor budgets, signal deviations, and translate them into useful insights. A project manager reading your report knows what is happening and what needs to happen.

That requires more than accuracy. You identify risks that others do not yet see, substantiate your advice, and close a project administratively correctly when the time comes. From the initial budget to the final settlement.

Good project control begins with insight. As a Project Controller, you provide that insight by translating data into conclusions and conclusions into advice. That requires accuracy, but also someone who thinks proactively and communicates findings clearly.

What you'll do

Specifically, you will work on:

Financial monitoring of projects in various phases
Preparing and presenting progress reports
Signaling risks and advising on adjustments
Correct and complete project administration from start to finish
