About VIGO

In their own words

About the company & team

On the CIBU, you work in a multidisciplinary team including level 4 and 5 nurses, social workers (agogen), psychiatrists, and therapists. Together, you provide intensive care to clients who are temporarily admitted due to an acute psychiatric problem, often within a compulsory framework.

You observe, guide, and support clients and make an active contribution to drafting, implementing, and evaluating the nursing and treatment plan. In doing so, you work closely with the treatment team, outpatient practitioners, and family or loved ones. The goal is clear: restore stability, stimulate personal responsibility, and keep the duration of treatment as short as possible.

On the CIBU, clients are primarily treated and nursed within a compulsory framework. These clients are admitted when they face an acute psychiatric problem that cannot be treated in the home situation, or when they pose a danger to themselves and their environment. Within the clinic, diagnostics and treatment take place, with the aim of stimulating the clients' personal responsibility and keeping the treatment duration as short as possible.

In your work, you support clients in regaining control, self-reliance, and personal balance. You help them deal with tension and crisis situations, thereby contributing to care that aligns with the individual needs of the client.

The team you join is energetic, flexible, and constantly developing. Together with your colleagues, you work towards a professional and pleasant working environment, in which teamwork and a positive approach are central.
