What will you do?

As a TIG welder, you will work daily on thin-walled stainless steel sheet material. You are responsible for your own work and ensure everything is correct: from the first weld to the final inspection.

• TIG welding of thin stainless steel sheet material (0.8 - 2 mm)
• Independently picking up and executing work assignments
• Checking your own work for quality and finish
• Reading and applying technical drawings
• Thinking along about improvements in product and process
• Ensuring a flawless end result and high productivity

You will become part of a team of welders.x The atmosphere is informal and collegial. You will work under the guidance of a working foreman and a team leader. We start between 07:00 and 09:00 and work 8 hours per day.

You are a craftsman who delivers quality and takes ownership of his work. You work in a structured manner and know what is required to deliver a good product.

As a TIG welder at VDL MPC, you will come to work at a professional no-nonsense production company in Amersfoort. A total of 120 employees work here. Despite the fact that we run a serious production, barbecues and Friday afternoon drinks are at least as important. There is also a room available with a dartboard, PS5, and table tennis table. You will become part of a welding team with 10 colleagues and a team leader. Within your job as a TIG welder, we offer you many opportunities to increase your welding level (through certification).
