HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking, preferably in a technical or business administration direction
Demonstrable experience in a leadership role within the manufacturing industry
Experience with quality control, process improvement, and an eye for safety.
Skills in situational and coaching leadership
Ability to think and act strategically
Strong communicative and organizational qualities
Natural leadership and coaching skills.
Good command of the Dutch and English languages

The role

As Assembly Team Leader, you are responsible for managing the assembly department. You ensure that these projects run smoothly and that all processes meet the set requirements regarding quality, logistics, technology, and costs (QLTC).

You monitor the progress of assembly projects, coordinate with the internal organization in case of escalations, and ensure clear reporting to management. You are a strategic partner who thinks along at a corporate level and actively contributes to the development and implementation of improvement trajectories and the application of 5S methodologies regarding the reduction of waste. In doing so, you supervise compliance with procedures, safeguard (delivery) performance, and ensure optimal alignment of production capacity based on forecasts.

In addition to your operational responsibilities, you are also a coaching leader. You support your employees with issues, stimulate their development, and ensure a positive working atmosphere. You advise on personnel matters, monitor the utilization of training, and motivate your team to get the best out of themselves.
