Requirements
Education & certifications
Do you have an MBO 2 or MBO 3 diploma in a technical field? And can you take a large number of parts, units, and modules and create a correct and working printing system, ready for the customer? Then we are looking for you!
The role
What you'll do
In this role, you are responsible for the successful assembly and packaging of complex printing systems. These involve large systems with thousands of unique parts, which together form a high-tech printing system for customers worldwide in the digital printing industry.
With your technical insight, you understand how (sub-)systems must be assembled mechanically, electrotechnically, and via software. Using drawings and diagrams, you assemble parts in the correct manner and at the right time. You quickly recognize assembly errors, material defects, or errors in the working method or production tool. You approach this proactively by solving the problem and proposing opportunities for improvement to your team and supervisor. You also have an eye for the quality of assembled systems and check them using measuring and testing equipment and thorough visual inspection.
In a team of operators, you work together intensively and solve problems with one another. Also, meeting agreements and working accurately according to established working methods is crucial to successfully assembling systems as a team.
