What will you do?

At VDL Jansen, we work every day on the development and production of high-quality systems for the poultry sector. Due to our growth, the complexity of our organization is also increasing. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to help further professionalize our supply chain.

The challenge lies not only in processes and systems. It is precisely the connection between departments that makes the difference. You ensure that planning, purchasing, production, and logistics do not each work from their own objectives, but collectively steer towards the same result. In doing so, you play an important role in the further development of our supply chain and support improvement projects surrounding our ERP environment. Your activities consist of, among other things:

• Improving and professionalizing the entire supply chain
• Connecting planning, purchasing, production, and logistics into one integrated process
• Analyzing bottlenecks and translating insights into concrete improvement initiatives
• Supporting improvements and developments within the ERP landscape
• Developing processes that ensure more predictability and control over the chain
• Setting up and improving forecasting and capacity planning
• Monitoring KPIs and reporting results to management and the board
• Guiding colleagues through new processes and ways of working
