Supply Chain Specialist

We are looking for someone who gets energy from managing various processes, enjoys being in contact with both internal and external stakeholders with the goal of achieving the ultimate, optimal delivery of our items to our customers. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you are responsible for managing and optimizing our entire supply chain.

Logistics is indispensable at LOAVIES when it comes to delivering a good experience regarding the delivery of our items, incoming and outgoing stock. YOU GOT IT!
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you are responsible for planning (and supervising) all incoming stock from our suppliers to our warehouse from A to Z. From the moment products are ready to be picked up, you take the lead. You work closely with our Buying Team, answering questions about delivery times and all other possible topics related to our stock. There is daily contact between you, our suppliers, and our warehouse to optimize our inbound process. You focus mainly on our current way of working and improve the process where necessary and possible — you are down in the trenches every day.

• All logistical processes within LOAVIES: From drafting procedures to managing stocks and developing new ways of working. You are able to respond to urgent needs of LOAVIES for, for example, ad hoc shipments;

• You analyze data, improve processes, and ensure an efficient flow of goods;

• You are the face of the supply chain and maintain contacts with suppliers and customers. Additionally, you are the first point of contact for questions from other departments regarding stock whereabouts and ETAs and coordinate goals with these departments;

• You develop and implement strategies to improve the logistical performance of LOAVIES;

• You use data to measure and improve the performance of the supply chain. This also includes ensuring the capacity of our warehouse;

• You are involved in matters such as customs clearance and managing international transports.

Are you enthusiastic about growing with us and ready to take LOAVIES to the next level? We hope that you bring these skills and experience:

• Proactive and well-organized. It can be hectic, so we need you to oversee everything;

• A HBO (higher professional education) degree or demonstrable working and thinking level;

• On average 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position. Experience in e-commerce and/or retail is a plus;

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;

• A team player, because although you have a very specific role, you have contact with many different departments within LOAVIES;

• Experience with managing (incoming) stock, preferably within a retail / FMCG environment, is a major plus. Don't have it yet? - We believe that everything can be learned.
