The role

The role

As a Quality Improvement Engineer, you help make our organization a little better every day. You don't just look at what goes wrong, but primarily at how we can design processes more intelligently so that problems are prevented. You work together with colleagues from production, engineering, supply chain, and project management to structurally improve quality. By analyzing data, understanding processes, and connecting the right people, you contribute to a stable and controlled production process.

What you'll do

You are regularly present on the shop floor to understand how processes actually unfold. In doing so, you identify opportunities for improvement, support teams in realizing improvements, and help further develop quality awareness within the organization. Whether you already have experience in quality or are at the beginning of your career: we offer you the space to further develop yourself in quality techniques, process analysis, and continuous improvement. Your tasks include:

  • Managing and analyzing quality deviations and translating these into concrete improvement actions, supported by clear dashboards and data;
  • Leading and facilitating multidisciplinary quality meetings, where you bring teams together and make clear agreements;
  • Performing in-depth analyses of complaints and disruptions (including 8D, FMEA) and ensuring sustainable solutions;
  • Being visible on the shop floor, following up on procedures and audits, and monitoring quality in new products and production processes;
  • Initiating and realizing process improvements, both internally and with suppliers, supported by KPIs, audits, and corrective/preventive measures.

Your strength

Our ideal colleague communicates clearly in Dutch and English, thinks actively along with colleagues, and knows how to connect teams to reach concrete improvements together. You dare to take action, address people where necessary, and take the initiative to improve processes both technically and organizationally. Additionally, you bring the following:
