Quality Engineer in the Netherlands

What will you do?

As a Quality Engineer, you are co-responsible for the quality of our high-tech products. You implement and verify processes aimed at continuous improvement and identify potential problems in a timely manner. Subsequently, you initiate improvement actions to resolve or prevent issues. You do this in close cooperation with project leaders, factory engineers, production departments, suppliers, and customers. Additionally, you ensure the correct and timely handling of customer complaints and proactively inform our customers.

• Taking ownership in the analysis and handling of internal and external complaints.
• Keeping customers up-to-date regarding ongoing complaints and improvement trajectories.
• Actively contributing to the operation by converting improvement proposals into concrete DMAIC projects and Kaizen actions.
• Securing and auditing processes according to product documentation and the QMS of VDL ETG Almelo.
• Guiding and directing the industrialization (APQP) of projects, with the goal of a flawless and scalable production environment.

• HBO/WO technical background; an education in Industrial Engineering & Management is a plus.
• Experience within a production or technical environment.
• Analytically strong and passionate about technology and production.
• Skilled in data and process analysis and drawing fact-based conclusions.
• Communicatively skilled, proactive, solution-oriented, and a true team player.
