The role

As Manager Engineering Parts, you are responsible for technical support and the preparation of the production organization. You lead the Factory Engineering, CAM, Toolshop, and Technical Service departments, ensuring they contribute optimally to a safe, efficient, and future-proof production environment. You are part of the Operations Team (OT) Parts and report directly to the Operations Manager. From this role, you actively contribute to the strategic development of the factory and translate business objectives into concrete improvement initiatives. The focus lies on shortening the time-to-market of new products, reducing machining times, increasing machine availability, strengthening technical competencies within the organization, improving process control using SPC methodologies, and accelerating digitalization and automation.

What you'll do

Leading the Factory Engineering, CAM, Toolshop, and Technical Service departments (approx. 50 FTE). In this capacity, you manage group leaders and indirectly manage employees within these departments;
Ensuring stable, efficient, and future-proof technical support and preparation of production processes;
Developing and implementing improvements in the areas of standardization, digitalization, and automation;
Actively shaping and realizing the technical roadmap and long-term development of the Parts factory;
Identifying and implementing new technologies that contribute to quality, delivery reliability, safety, and efficiency;
Collaborating with Production and Quality to further strengthen process performance and continuous improvement;
Responsible for the performance, maintenance strategy, capacity, and availability of the machine park;
Initiating and guiding investment projects and new production equipment;
Stimulating the development of technical knowledge and competencies within the organization;
Promoting process control, including through the application of SPC methodologies;
Creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
