Service Advisor in the Netherlands

What will you be doing?
For our Van Mossel Peugeot location in Purmerend, we are looking for a customer-friendly colleague to join our team as a service advisor. Together with your colleagues, you will welcome customers with a big smile and help them with a wide variety of questions, which primarily concern service. You are the link between the customer and the workshop. Customers truly see you as their service advisor. What does a typical workday look like? The customer calls for an appointment, and you schedule a date and time together with the customer. On the day of the appointment, you receive the customer and discuss any potential issues with the car. Subsequently, you hand over the tasks to your colleagues in the workshop. Thanks to your information, the mechanics know exactly what they need to do. As soon as the car is ready, you discuss the completed work with the customer. Of course, you also process all of this administratively, and you safeguard the workshop planning. Furthermore, your duties include:

• Creating work orders;

• Monitoring the progress of the planning;

• Discussing the invoice and providing explanations to the customer about the performed work;

• Preparing appointments.

Who are you?
Of course, it is nice if you already have experience as a service advisor within the automotive industry. But if you have worked in hospitality or another service-oriented role where you had a lot of customer contact, we will teach you the ropes of our profession! The most important thing is that you, together with your fellow service advisors, provide excellent help to the customers. It goes without saying that you know what customer friendliness is and that you enjoy being in contact with customers. Like no one else, you know how to maintain an overview at the desk, even when it is very busy! Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Proficiency in the Dutch language, both spoken and written;

• You have at least 3 years of work experience;

• Full-time availability.
