The role
We are looking for a Supply Planner for our Foodstores. You will manage your own supplier and article portfolio and be responsible for the entire procurement process, from order to delivery: every store must be fully stocked every day, without cash being tied up in non-moving stock.
You will be busy getting stock to the right place on time, but at the same time, you will contribute ideas regarding the supply chain strategy of your product portfolio. Think of lead time, inventory value, and shrinkage. We are looking for someone who performs both types of work with the same sharpness: the daily procurement and the improvement behind it.
We are opening Foodstores across the country, on our way to ten stores and beyond, and every new store relies on your procurement. You will manage your own portfolio, monitor delivery times and order confirmations, and intervene before a risk becomes an empty shelf.
What you'll do
Manage your own supplier and item portfolio for the Foodstore, from order to delivery
You monitor KPIs such as lead time, shrinkage, and inventory value
Place purchase orders based on sales data and inventory levels, and monitor delivery times and order confirmations
You are the link between external suppliers and are in daily contact with the warehouse, category management, and development team to execute your supply chain strategy as optimally as possible
Analyze procurement data and supplier performance, and identify risks and opportunities for improvement
Limit urgent orders and excess inventory, so that no cash is tied up in products that do not move
Hard requirements
You are meticulous and planning-oriented and maintain an overview of many products at once
You negotiate sharply and communicate clearly, even when a supplier does not deliver what was agreed upon
