At Transavia, you get the chance to contribute daily to safe flight operations and ground operations within our dynamic Safety, Quality Assurance & Security team. Do you want to work together with your colleagues to further strengthen safety within our operation? And do you want to set up and further develop the Safety Management System (SMS)? Then we are looking for you as a Safety Engineer at Transavia.

In your new job as a Safety Engineer, you will work daily with your team on safety and quality management. In doing so, you will make an important contribution to safe flight operations and ground operations, Transavia's highest priority. You will set up the Safety Management System (SMS) and develop it further. To this end, you will, among other things, draw up requirement programs for the automated tools that are in use or will be taken into use within the SMS. This includes, among other things, the system for reporting incidents, flight data monitoring, and safety risk management.

And you do much more, such as:

• Guiding and supporting safety risk assessments at the operational departments;

• Performing SMS tasks in such a way that a reliable insight into the state of affairs regarding risks in the operation is constantly maintained. Based on this data, you will inform and advise the operational line management;

• Analyzing (digital) flight data received from the operation. Examples include safety reports, flight data monitoring, and data from the Electronic Flight Bag;

• Supporting the department head in managing and monitoring safety investigations and operational security activities;

• Facilitating the various Safety Action Groups and Safety Review Board;

• Representing the SQA&S department in (multidisciplinary) projects.
