As a Certifying Technician or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), do you enjoy seeking out more complex technical challenges and tackling AOG situations?
For our Aircraft On Ground (AOG) team, we are looking for experienced AMEs who do not shy away from technical challenges. You will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and you will work almost no night shifts.
In your new role as Technical Specialist AOG, you are responsible for realizing a more stable technical operation by reducing and, where possible, shortening technical disruptions. You analyze and resolve complex technical faults, coordinate actions during various AOG situations, and use the Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) system to identify potential system complaints early to prevent AOGs.
Transavia is fully engaged in modernizing its fleet with the introduction of the new Airbus A320neo and A321neo. With your experience, you will make an important contribution to a safe and efficient operation and, together with your colleagues, ensure that our fleet remains in top condition.
To keep your license(s) valid and complete your key hours, you will work approximately 25% of your shifts spread throughout the year as a (senior) Certifying Technician (AME) within the Maintenance Teams of Technical Services. In this position, you will work alternating shifts from Monday to Sunday, exclusively in day and evening shifts, and therefore without night shifts.
Ensuring efficient technical handling of operational disruptions within the Maintenance Control Center (MCC), particularly during AOG situations;
Coordinating preventive maintenance to minimize (preventable) disruptions;
Supporting Technical Services with complex faults and damage assessments;
Improving and implementing work processes.
The Fleet & Technical Services (F&TS) department operates from our hangar at Schiphol-Oost and on the line, and is responsible for the technical readiness of our aircraft.
Within Fleet & Technical Services (F&TS), you will join the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) team of approximately 7 employees. This department is the heart of our operation and consists of Technical Specialists, Maintenance Control, and line planning. During the shift, this is a solo position. As a Technical Specialist, you will work in day and evening shifts, during the week and on weekends. You report hierarchically to the Line Maintenance Lead and functionally, during shifts, to the duty Maintenance Controller.
As a Technical Specialist AOG:
You are a Certifying Technician on the types: Boeing 737NG and/or the Airbus A320/321neo. Should you not be licensed on all our types, we would still love to receive your application. We can potentially provide further training!
You have knowledge and experience as a Certifying Technician in maintaining procedures within part-145 (MOE);
You are communicative and decisive, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant;
You embrace diversity;
You gain energy from change, collaboration, and achieving results.
Upload your motivation and CV via the application button;
You will hear within 2 weeks whether we invite you for an interview;
The procedure consists of at least 2 interviews.
Is it a match from both sides? And do you pass the screening for (aviation) safety requirements? Welcome on board!
