  • Interest in the electricity market and the dynamics of market processes.
  • An assertive and proactive attitude, with the ability to build a network and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.

To truly make a difference in this role, you bring the following competencies:

Managing Complexity - comfortable working with complex and large volumes of information, you approach issues from different perspectives, identify underlying problems and use new insights to find effective solutions.

Tech Savvy - keeping up with new technologies and analytical techniques, you know how to apply them to improve performance. You are curious about new tools and technologies and see opportunities to use them to improve monitoring and analysis.

Optimising Work Processes - a continuous focus on improving processes, methods and results. You identify inefficiencies and turn opportunities for improvement into more effective ways of working.

You are responsible for, among other things

  • Designing, implementing and validating methods for detecting unusual market behaviour and potential market abuse.
  • Developing tools that enable the efficient analysis and investigation of alerts.
  • Acting as a bridge between business, analytics and IT, translating market monitoring and surveillance needs into scalable data engineering, platform development and model deployment solutions.
  • Daily coordination and exchange of knowledge with other members of the MMS team about findings and market developments.
  • Contributing to the further professionalisation of the team together with colleagues, such as documenting processes and information models that are relevant to market monitoring and market surveillance.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing monitoring approaches and exploring new analytical techniques and technologies.

TenneT offers you the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable energy future. Together with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, you will work on innovative solutions that make the energy transition possible. You will have the space to develop your talent in an environment that puts your growth at the center. We believe in collaboration, forward thinking, and innovation.
