As a business analyst, you connect data, transport, and customer needs. You analyze complex issues, translate insights into concrete solutions, and play an important role in the continuous improvement of our services.

You work closely with operations, customers, and various internal stakeholders and ensure that data... You are the connecting link between data, operations, customers, and various internal stakeholders. From your analytical expertise, you provide insights and advice that contribute to better customer solutions and more efficient processes: you work on them.

How do you do this? You are responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex freight data from existing customers. You make transport flows, volumes, costs, and operational performance transparent and translate these analyses into clear, substantiated advice for both customers and operations. You also play an important role in tenders and quotation processes. You analyze tender data, identify relevant trends and optimization opportunities, and translate these into appropriate and commercially substantiated transport solutions. In doing so, you combine data analysis with your knowledge of the transport sector and know how to reduce complex issues to concrete insights and improvement opportunities.

Additionally, you are involved in strategic and operational projects within the freight organization, from the initial analysis and solution direction through to implementation at the customer. You collaborate with various internal disciplines and stakeholders and ensure that improvement initiatives are translated into workable solutions that actually deliver results. You monitor the coherence between processes, data, and customer needs, signal opportunities and bottlenecks, and take responsibility for successful execution. This makes you a substantively strong sparring partner for both operations and the customer, and you contribute directly to the further development and optimization of our services. You will achieve this by:

• analyzing transport data and customer information, making transport flows, volumes, costs, and performance transparent and translating them into concrete advice;
• developing tenders and quotations, where you analyze data, identify opportunities, and contribute to appropriate and substantiated solutions for potential customers;
• developing, optimizing, and implementing solutions, where you translate complex issues into practical improvements and realize these together with various stakeholders.

• HBO or WO working and thinking level, supplemented with knowledge of transport and several years of relevant experience in a similar analytical or commercial role;
• strong analytical and conceptual skills and excellent Excel skills, with which you are able to penetrate large amounts of customer, freight, and tender data and translate them into clear insights and substantiated advice;
• a proactive, structured, and result-oriented working attitude. You switch easily between different issues and stakeholders, think in solutions, and know how to reduce complex processes to practical and executable improvements.
