Marketing Data Specialist

• A completed university degree with a strong quantitative component, such as Business Analytics, Econometrics, Economics, or Business Information Management.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Passion for analyzing data and building data processes.
• Specialist knowledge of at least one of the programming languages SQL, Python, or R. Knowledge of dbt, Looker, and/or Airflow is a plus. 
• A good command of the Dutch language.

As a Marketing Data Specialist, you use various data sources to optimize Coolblue's marketing strategy. In doing so, you ensure that marketing becomes even more effective. You achieve this by analyzing data, which you then convert into smart strategies. For this, you make use of your specialist knowledge of SQL, Python, or R. With your sharp eye, you regularly spot opportunities for improvement. You coordinate on this with various marketing teams within Coolblue.

• Setting up smart processes that ensure an optimal use of data within your Marketing team.

• Working with a large amount of data, for example regarding customer behavior on the website or external channels.

• Optimizing marketing channels with different types of advertisements, such as emails, banners, or push notifications.

• Working with a broad set of tooling such as dbt, Python, Looker, Airflow, and BigQuery to write the smartest logic, automate, and analyze results.

• Managing various stakeholders and convincing others of your plans and ideas.

As a Marketing Data Specialist, you analyze data and use SQL, Python, or R to optimize marketing strategies. You automate processes and communicate effectively about them with various stakeholders. You know how to convey your ideas well to others. In doing so, you make use of your powers of persuasion.
