NOC Engineer Telecom - regular office hours

Therefore, for full-time employment, we offer you:

• A permanent contract with a two-month probationary period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 7: €4211,- to €7447,- per month, in addition to 8% holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 6%.
• A solid pension via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.
• 43 vacation days per year.

As a NOC Engineer Telecom in the Telecom department, you ensure the operational maintenance, adaptation, and optimization of the telecom infrastructure. From the telecom field, you contribute to the realization of projects, including a large telecom project and projects related to the energy transition.

Additionally, you ensure—whether alone or together with your colleagues in the field—the adequate handling of infrastructure malfunctions, and you are part of the on-call service. You advise internal and external stakeholders in the field of telecom. You also actively contribute to improvement actions within the department or the supply chain. You have contact with suppliers regarding disruptions and technical developments. Your proactivity and communication skills will also come in handy here. You will primarily perform your duties at the Telecom NOC in Arnhem.

• You are a technical professional with MBO+/HBO working and thinking level and at least in possession of an MBO 4 diploma;
• You have a number of years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a telecom environment;
• You have knowledge of and experience with telecom technologies. In particular, knowledge of Ethernet/IP and MPLS IP/TP, DWDM, SDH, PDH, and IEC 61850 is a plus;
• You also have knowledge and experience with network management systems
• Having insight into and knowledge of used Cybersecurity technologies such as encryption, role-based access, Radius, and with network management systems.
• You are communicatively strong, proactive, and able to connect. You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
