The role

Do you want to work on challenging infrastructure projects where you truly maintain an overview from start to finish? And are you looking for a role in which you are broadly involved, given a lot of responsibility, and work in an informal, down-to-earth organization? Then this position as an Infrastructure Engineering Planner at Molhoek Infratechniek is for you.

At Molhoek, you work on civil and rail-related projects throughout the Netherlands. Think of foundations, screw piling, pressing technology, noise barriers, and renovation of existing infrastructure. You ensure that everything is correct before execution starts and remain sharp on planning, safety, quality, and costs throughout the project.

Molhoek Infratechniek is a specialist in civil engineering, rail infrastructure, and foundation technology. With years of experience, we realize safe and sustainable solutions, both above and below ground. We work on diverse projects for, among others, ProRail, governments, and contractors. Our strength lies in craftsmanship, flexibility, and strong project management, combined with a personal approach and an informal culture.

What you'll do

As a planner, you are the pivot between project management, execution, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your role is broad and varied.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Together with your team, you prepare projects from A to Z, in the broadest sense of the word.
  • You draw up schedules, work plans, and inspection plans and monitor progress.
  • You maintain contact with subcontractors and suppliers, request equipment, and record agreements in purchase orders.
  • You monitor progress, budget, quality, and safety, and adjust where necessary.
  • You identify risks and tackle them proactively, both in the area of safety and regarding extra or reduced work.
  • You support the project team where necessary.
  • You ensure that the project is executed safely, efficiently, and according to agreement.

You work from the office in Utrecht, partly at project locations, and in consultation, also partly from home.

Functie-eisen

You are organized, think ahead, and love having an overview. You switch easily between different projects and people, take responsibility, and work from a positive, proactive attitude.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • An MBO or HBO education in civil engineering, infrastructure technology, or similar is a very nice advantage. But not necessary; even without these papers, we would love to get in touch with you.
  • Experience as a planner, scheduler, or in a similar technical role is a plus.
  • Experience in civil works and/or screw piling is a plus.
  • You communicate clearly and work in a structured manner.
  • You take initiative and dare to make decisions.
  •  You work from a positive approach.
