Senior Civil Engineering Works Planner

• A completed MBO or HBO education in civil engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience as a planner within the civil engineering or infra sector.
• Demonstrable knowledge of UAV and UAV‑GC contracts.
• Experience with monitoring schedule, costs, and quality.
• Strong communication skills and excellent command of the Dutch language.
• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working attitude.

• A good salary between € 5,000 and € 6,700 per month, depending on your experience.

As a Senior Civil Engineering Works Planner at Strukton Civiel Nederland – Utrecht branch, you will contribute to infrastructural projects that keep the Netherlands accessible and play an important role in the energy transition.

From complex urban redesigns to the maintenance and reconstruction of roads, sewerage, and asphalt: you oversee the entire trajectory and ensure that projects proceed predictably and successfully, from preparation to delivery.

As a Senior Civil Engineering Works Planner, you are a central link within the project team. You work closely with project managers and (head) foremen and are responsible for the thorough preparation and coordination of multiple civil engineering projects from our Utrecht branch.

You combine an overview with substantive depth and know how to switch quickly in a dynamic project environment.

• Responsible for the complete work preparation of civil engineering projects (earthworks, road construction, sewerage, and hydraulic engineering).
• Drafting, monitoring, and adjusting schedules, costs, and quality.
• Coordinating the procurement and management of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitoring contractual agreements and working with UAV and UAV‑GC.
• Acting as a point of contact for internal colleagues, clients, and external parties.
• Identifying risks and bottlenecks and proactively anticipating them.
• Thinking along with and contributing to process improvements within projects and the organization.
• Guiding and coaching junior planners where necessary.

You are an experienced planner with a passion for civil engineering and infrastructure. You enjoy responsibility, think ahead, and know how to well manage the interests of various stakeholders. You are both a team player and someone who can make decisions independently.
