Civil Project Leader

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable education.
• At least 5 years of experience as a project leader or site manager within civil projects.
• Experience with road construction, civil concrete construction, and/or maintenance projects.
• Experience working within a construction team.
• Strong leadership skills and organizational ability.
• Commercial insight and the ability to maintain relationships with clients.
• Excellent communication skills and a good command of the Dutch language.
• Willingness to manage projects in the region from Utrecht.

• A good salary between € 5,500.- and € 8,600.- per month, depending on your experience. 
• 30 vacation days per year according to the Bouw & Infra CAO.

From maintenance and reconstruction projects to civil concrete works and integral infra tasks: you are ultimately responsible for the result and ensure that projects are realized safely, in a controlled manner, and in accordance with objectives.

As a Civil Project Leader, you are responsible for the integral management of one or more civil projects from our Utrecht location. You lead project teams, maintain contact with clients, and monitor all facets of the project.

• Responsible for the total project organization, from order to delivery.
• Ensuring integral safety, quality, and progress of the project.
• Monitoring and managing planning, budget, and financial results.
• Leading, coaching, and motivating the project team.
• Organizing and coordinating procurement and contract management.
• Maintaining and expanding relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identifying and controlling risks, changes, and deviations.
• Preparing and discussing reports for management and clients.
• Collaborating within a construction team and contributing to predictable project execution.

You keep the end goal sharply in view and work in a structured manner, which creates calm and clarity within the team.

You are a decisive and result-oriented Civil Project Leader with an eye for both people and processes. You switch easily between operational, tactical, and strategic levels and know how to weigh interests effectively.

• Knowledge and experience with UAV and UAV‑GC contract forms.
