ER physicians

With us, you can practice your profession to its full extent. Patients from all specialties come to our ER, from pediatrics to cardiology, neurology, and sometimes also gynecology. While in many hospitals an ER physician has a supervisory and coordinating role, with us, you are also at the bedside yourself. This offers a beautiful balance, ensuring your work remains varied and challenging.

You will become part of a large, respected department where the ER plays a central role within the hospital. With us, you take the lead in every reception, whether it concerns a septic patient, resuscitation, or high-energy trauma. Your expertise and position are recognized and valued. Collaboration is central: outside of night hours, you always work together with a fellow ER physician, which provides space to brainstorm and learn from one another.

With us, you regularly stand at the patient's bedside yourself and, at the same time, you take the lead in every reception as the primary treating physician. This offers a beautiful balance between coordinating, supervising, and direct patient care, ensuring your work remains varied and challenging. Who are you?
As an ER physician, you play a crucial role in our team. Your ability to work independently and with a sharp eye for detail makes you the perfect candidate.

• An integral approach to patients without endless consultations;

• The efficient formulation of working and differential diagnoses in undifferentiated patients.

Alongside patient care, you play a key role in:

• The coordination and supervision of ANIOS ER, HAIOs, and medical students;

• Contributing to the development of our department and various portfolios.

Our ER in St Jansdal hospital is modern and excellently equipped, feels like 'your own place', and offers:

• 18 centrally monitored beds, including 2 trauma rooms and a first Cardiac Aid.

• A wide range of patient categories, ultrasounds, PSA, FICB, and leadership in resuscitation, SIT, and trauma teams.

With a level-2 trauma and ICU setup, and a regional function for NW-Veluwe and ZO-Flevoland, we see approximately 24,000 patients annually. This ensures an interesting mix of cases, from aortic dissection to adder bites. Collaboration with other specialties is strong, with short lines of communication and effective triage in cooperation with the nearby GP out-of-hours clinic.

• A permanent position for 18 to 45 hours per week.

• Your salary? That is arranged via the AMS regulation for Medical Specialists, starting from € 8,694.- up to a maximum of € 15,090.- gross per month for a full-time employment, plus a guaranteed 21% allowance for irregular hours. Your salary will be determined based on your work experience.
