SIT-physician

A great job, in which you as a physician keep watch before our sleep doctor arrives. In the event of emergencies, you provide the initial care for a client.

As an A(N)IOS (IC/ER/Anesthesia) with a focus on acute medicine or a foundation doctor with FCCS and ALS training, you have a broad interest and enjoy taking a look into clinics where specialist care is provided.

As a SIT physician, you are physically present at our clinic in Rijswijk during such a shift, where clients stay who have undergone surgery. These stays are for day treatment and/or overnight stays. This is inherent to the type of procedure they undergo. In case of acute complaints, you assess the well-being of the client and prescribe medication if necessary. You support the nursing staff where needed and, if necessary, you contact the orthopedist or anesthesiologist on duty. Naturally, you correctly register the activities performed by you.
You work within a pool of SIT physicians and your shifts are on weekdays between 5-7 PM.

You will become part of the fast-growing team of our Bewegingszorg location in Rijswijk, which now consists of a total of 140 employees. Here, we perform a great diversity of orthopedic procedures in four state-of-the-art 'Class I' operating rooms. Thanks to the modern interior and informal culture, however, the atmosphere in the clinic is anything but sterile. We have time for the client and space: with twenty polyclinics, 33 single rooms for stays, and a physiotherapy room. For breakfast and lunch, everyone can visit our excellent restaurant. And parking? That is possible in one of the more than 100 parking spaces at the door.

You are a good listener and can empathize with your clients. Under all circumstances, you remain calm and consider the options, after which you dare to make decisions and take action. Due to your experience in the emergency room or Intensive Care, you have dealt with emergency situations and clients with pain complaints and know how to assess potential risks well. You possess:

• BIG registration as a foundation doctor and work as an A(N)IOS in the Emergency Room, Intensive Care, or Anesthesia

• Fundamental Critical Care Support and/or ALS provider certificate

• A salary of €5,295 gross per month (FWG 65-0) based on 40 hours per week in accordance with the ZKN collective labor agreement

• Contract as an on-call worker (0-hours)

• Maximum influence on your shifts:

• Travel allowance, maximized at 80 km one way for home/work travel at € 0.23 per km
