Oracle Cloud Engineer

• A HBO or WO degree in an IT field and at least B2 level Dutch

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), middleware, and databases

• Knowledge of Oracle databases including installation, configuration, and optimization and/or open-source variants such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB

• Experience with infrastructure automation with Ansible and Terraform

• You are a strong communicator, proactive, and enjoy sharing your knowledge within the team

As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you help organizations design, build, and manage robust Oracle environments. You combine deep technical knowledge with advisory skills and play a key role in modernizing and optimizing infrastructures and databases.

You work with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle databases and utilize automation to make environments scalable, secure, and manageable. In doing so, you make use of tools such as Ansible and Terraform. You contribute to architectural choices, solve complex technical issues, and guide customers in their digital transformation.

In addition to project work, you are also involved in presales processes. You provide technical input for quotes and tenders and help convince customers with clear, well-founded solutions. You work closely with colleagues within the Oracle practice and act as a sparring partner for both customers and team members.

You get energy from complex technical environments and enjoy making Oracle solutions stable, scalable, and future-proof. You think architecturally, work in a structured manner, and know how to explain technical choices clearly to customers and colleagues. You switch easily between execution and advisory and take responsibility for your solutions.

You will join the Oracle practice of Sopra Steria. A team in which technical depth, collaboration, and knowledge sharing are central. You will work together with other technical consultants and architects on challenging Oracle issues for customers in the public sector, finance, and industry.

You will get the space to further deepen your knowledge of Oracle Cloud, infrastructure automation, and database platforms. With guidance from experienced colleagues, challenging projects, and access to the Sopra Steria Academy, you will purposefully build upon your expertise and impact as a technical consultant.
