Azure Solution Architect – Cloud & AI

• You have extensive technical experience within software development and understand how modern applications are actually built;
• You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and experience in designing modern, cloud-native solutions;
• You have experience with software and/or solution architecture and can make technical architectural choices, substantiate them, and translate them to development teams;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and modern deployment processes is a plus;
• You have knowledge of architectural principles such as event-driven architecture, APIs, integrations, security, and scalability;
• You have experience or affinity with AI and Generative AI.
• You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in an IT field, are a strong conversationalist, and have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

As an Azure Solution Architect, you translate complex IT challenges into suitable technical architectures within the Microsoft ecosystem. You oversee the bigger picture and make well-founded choices regarding, among other things, applications, Azure services, integrations, data, and security.

You are a technical sparring partner for clients and development teams. You provide direction for architecture and design choices, monitor technical standards, and help teams apply new technology in a thoughtful manner.

• Designing cloud-native architectures
  You determine which Azure services and architecture patterns fit the challenge and lay the technical foundation for modern, scalable applications.
• Shaping event-driven solutions
  You design how applications and services communicate with each other and make choices regarding events, messaging, APIs, and integrations.
• Professionalizing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD
  You help teams further automate infrastructure and deployments, for example with Bicep or Terraform, and ensure that this aligns well with modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Applying AI within modern software architectures
  You investigate how AI can add value to existing and new applications and make architectural choices regarding, for example, Azure AI, Generative AI, and the use of LLMs within software solutions.

What we offer you

• A permanent contract and a salary between  €5,000.- and €7,500.- gross per month (based on 40 hours per week, employment at least 32 hours).
• At Sopra Steria, we believe equal pay for equal work is important. Therefore, we determine your salary based on objective criteria such as experience, knowledge, competencies, and responsibilities. This allows us to ensure fair and transparent compensation that matches your background and the impact of your role.
• Holiday allowance of 8%;
• A profit-sharing scheme with a target payment of 8% of the gross (part-time) annual salary, depending on company results;
• A mobility scheme with a choice between an electric lease car or an alternative transport arrangement, suited to your situation;
• 27 vacation days, with the possibility to buy or sell non-statutory vacation days;
