AI Agent Engineer

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience within Power Platform, AI, automation, or a similar environment;
• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in an IT field;
• Experience with Copilot Studio and/or Power Platform, for example Power Automate;
• Experience with or strong knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs and interest in agentic AI;
• You understand how to use prompts, instructions, and logic to make an agent function effectively;
• You are communicatively and analytically strong, can translate work processes into practical AI solutions, and have a good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing.

• A permanent contract and a salary between €4,000 and €6,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week, employment at least 32 hours).

Do you want to build the next generation of AI solutions and help organizations make the leap to agentic working?

Within the Microsoft Area of Sopra Steria, you will work together with experienced Microsoft professionals on innovative AI solutions for organizations within defense, the public sector, financial services, and industry. As an AI Agent Engineer, you will work at the intersection of technology and consultancy, helping organizations to practically apply the possibilities of AI.

You will work with the latest developments within the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI, and will be given plenty of room to experiment and further develop yourself within agentic AI.

What will you do?
As an AI Agent Engineer, you will engage with clients regarding their work processes and challenges. You will discover where AI can make a difference and translate these use cases into smart agents that support employees and make tasks simpler and more efficient.

You are involved from the first idea and prototype to the building, testing, and further development of the agent. In doing so, you will work extensively with Copilot Studio and Power Platform and experiment with new possibilities within Generative and agentic AI.

• From work process to AI agent
  Together with stakeholders, you map out processes and challenges and determine where an agent can truly add value.
• Testing and improving agents
  You test how agents respond, improve instructions and prompts, and ensure that the solution works reliably and user-friendly.
• Developing new applications
  You experiment with Generative and agentic AI, build prototypes, and investigate which applications are suitable for further development.
