• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level and at least 5 years of experience within cloud, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and StackIT, including cloud networking and security.
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, containerization, and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation scripting, CI/CD, and GitOps.
• Knowledge of IAM, security, observability (monitoring, logging, and tracing), and operational platform management.
• Experience with software development (including Python, Go, or C/C++) and data/event-driven solutions such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, DevOps/SRE principles, and system design; relevant cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications are a plus.

Cloud-native engineers within the Customer Enablement team of the TechHub Private Cloud design, implement, automate, and manage modern cloud environments, with a maximum focus on customer enablement.

In this role, you will work together with customer teams and developers to design, build, and manage modern cloud environments. Your focus lies on automating and standardizing infrastructure, so that cloud platforms can be deployed and managed securely, scalably, and reliably.

You develop and implement cloud solutions for, among other things, compute, networking, identity management, and Kubernetes platforms. Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps principles, you ensure automated, consistent, and manageable deployments. Additionally, you build and manage container platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, including monitoring, security, access management, and observability.

In addition to developing and improving platforms, you are responsible for the management of cloud environments. This includes performing changes, upgrades, and releases, resolving incidents, and performing root cause analyses to implement structural improvements. By smartly setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting, you contribute to a stable and high-performing environment.

Together with security, network, data, and customer teams, you work on standards, automation, and best practices. In this way, you help organizations to use cloud-native services securely, efficiently, and independently, and you accelerate the adoption of modern cloud technologies.
