Azure Integration specialist

• Minimum 4 years of experience in C#/.NET
• You have extensive experience in designing and developing complex integration solutions, preferably within Microsoft Azure;
• You have experience with Azure Integration Services, such as API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid;
• You have good knowledge of APIs, messaging, and event-driven architecture;
• You have experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code;

• A completed HBO degree (preferably in IT);
• You are a strong interlocutor for clients and colleagues, can provide sound reasoning for technical choices, and communicate well in Dutch, both verbally and in writing.

• A permanent contract and a salary between €4,400 and €6,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week, employment at least 32 hours).

Within the Microsoft Area of Sopra Steria, you will work together with experienced .NET developers, software architects, and other Microsoft specialists on impactful projects for clients within defense, the public sector, financial services, and industry.

As an Azure Integration specialist, you combine deep technical expertise with consultancy. You work in environments where large numbers of applications, data sources, and processes converge and integration plays a crucial role in the functioning of the organization.

What will you do?
As an Azure Integration specialist, you translate complex integration challenges into suitable solutions within Microsoft Azure. You oversee the integration landscape and contribute ideas regarding architecture and technical choices.

With your experience, you are a substantive interlocutor for clients, architects, and developers, and you safeguard the technical quality of the solution.

• Designing and developing complex API landscapes
  You work on environments in which multiple applications and systems communicate with each other via APIs. Using, among other things, Azure API Management and Azure Functions, you ensure that functionalities and data are made available in a controlled manner.
• Realizing event-driven integration solutions
  You develop solutions in which systems communicate via events and messaging. Using technologies such as Azure Service Bus and Event Grid, you ensure a robust setup and think about topics such as message handling and error handling.
• Connecting AI agents with applications and data
  You build the integrations that allow AI agents to communicate securely with existing applications, APIs, and data sources. In this way, you ensure that agents can truly become part of existing processes and IT landscapes.
• Modernizing and professionalizing integration landscapes
  You help organizations renew existing connections and further professionalize integration platforms. Think of the transition to Azure Integration Services and establishing standards around deployment, monitoring, logging, and security.
