Cloud Platform Engineer

You are an experienced engineer who gets energy from technology, continuous improvement, and solving complex problems.

In addition, you possess:

• At least several years of experience within cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server.
• Experience with VMware.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management tooling such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Good command of Dutch and English.

Plus:

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of software development.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Architect, or similar.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will work on complex infrastructure and cloud issues. You will not only support existing environments but also assist in the transition to automated and cloud-driven platforms.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Designing, managing, and optimizing cloud and platform environments.
• Automating infrastructure with tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Managing Windows Server and VMware environments.
• Implementing and monitoring Azure Policies and cloud standards.
• Improving the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical platforms.
• Contributing to CI/CD processes and Infrastructure as Code.
• Mentoring colleagues and sharing technical knowledge within the team.
