Your role: from idea to real impact

As an Outcome Deployed Engineering Consultant (ODE) at Capgemini Invent, you work at the intersection of business, strategy, and technology. You design, build, and implement AI solutions within real business processes, with the goal of delivering direct value and making solutions production-ready from day one.

You are responsible for achieving concrete business results, including adoption within the organization. This requires a combination of domain knowledge, hands-on AI skills, and strong judgment in delivery.

• Hours: 32-40 hours
• Workplace: Utrecht, at the client's location, and from home
• Experience: Medior/Senior/Expert

• Domain knowledge: Experience in at least one sector or function (such as supply chain, finance, or risk) and the ability to spar with stakeholders at a substantive level.
• Result responsibility: Defining success in business terms and taking responsibility from development to adoption.
• Hands-on AI skills: Independently building prototypes with modern AI tools (such as LLMs, RAG, and agents) and further developing these towards production.
• Collaboration with suppliers: Bridging the gap between client needs and technology partners, and ensuring appropriate and feasible solutions.
• AI governance: Taking data, security, regulation, and existing IT environments into account when designing solutions.

• Experience in facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in developing production-ready solutions
• The ability to translate technology into business impact
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in dynamics
• A good command of English and preferably also the Dutch language.

• Python and modern development practices
• AI/LLM applications (RAG, agents, evaluation, and guardrails)
• Experience with platforms such as OpenAI, Google, AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Understanding of model and agent architectures
