Control Room Supervisor

As Control Room Supervisor, you have a responsible and versatile role in which you maintain oversight and take control. You are not only busy with creating reports and analyses, but also fulfill an important representative role: you are often one of the first security officers a visitor meets. In this way, you are the visiting card of the organization and, within strict security frameworks, ensure a professional and welcoming reception.

In this role, you are a jack-of-all-trades. One moment you are registering visitors and answering questions, the next moment you are directing responders during an alarm or making independent decisions during incidents. You maintain the total overview of what is happening in and around the building and intervene where necessary.

As Control Room Supervisor, you are continuously alert to risks and deviating situations. You know when to escalate, recognize suspicious situations, and act proactively to ensure safety. Additionally, you analyze security processes and translate these into clear reports and insights for the client. You prepare these reports and analyses daily in the English language, so that the client gains optimal insight into the workings of the security within the data center.

Control Room Supervisors are present on-site 24/7 and act as the supervisor on duty. You monitor camera footage, coordinate actions, and direct colleagues where necessary. Although the procedures and guidelines are clear, no two days are the same. It is precisely that combination of clear frameworks and unexpected situations that makes the work dynamic and challenging.

• You possess an MBO-2 security diploma
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
• In possession of a Category B driver's license and own transport
• You are enthusiastic about collaborating with people and are able to coach them (daily)
• You are available 24/7 and flexibly deployable for evening, night, and weekend shifts
• You have strong communication skills and are stress-resistant, integrous, decisive, and solution-oriented

• Extensive induction period (3–4 months): For this client, it is essential that you are first fully trained as a Screening Officer and subsequently as a Responder. This way, you learn all processes, protocols, and operational activities before starting as a Control Room Supervisor
