You are someone who remains calm under pressure, switches gears quickly, and dares to take responsibility. You maintain an overview, think analytically, and enjoy working together to ensure security at Schiphol. Additionally:

You possess an MBO 2 Security diploma;
Are you available 24/7 (day, evening, night, and weekend shifts);
Do you have experience as a patrol officer at Schiphol or at least 2 years of experience within a security control room;
Do you have your own transport and a driver's license;
Do you live within a radius of maximum 55 km from Schiphol.

🔒 Position: Schiphol Dispatcher (SCC Operator)
📍 Location: Schiphol
💰 Salary: € 16.63 to € 19.94 gross per hour, excluding allowances
🎁 Until end of year: € 1,000 gross signing bonus!
📅 Contract: 136 to 144 hours per 4 weeks

€ 1,000 gross signing bonus! Will you be hired for the SCC between October 9 and December 31, 2026? Then you will temporarily receive a signing bonus of €1,000 gross, divided over two payment moments: after 6 and 12 months. This bonus applies to new employees as well as current Securitas colleagues transferring to the SCC from another discipline.
A salary between € 16.63 and € 19.94 gross per hour, depending on your experience;
Schiphol allowance of € 2.50 gross per hour on top of your salary;
Irregularity allowances in accordance with the Private Security collective labor agreement: evening 10%, night 20%, weekend 35%, and public holidays 50%;

The role

What you'll do

The SCC forms the beating heart of security at Schiphol. From the dispatch center, you monitor via cameras, direct colleagues on the floor, and respond quickly during incidents. You maintain the overview and, together with your colleagues, ensure that everything continues to run safely.

Handling and reporting alarm notifications;
Directing surveillance officers (on foot, bicycle, and car);
Operating and checking border revolving doors (GWD);
Monitoring camera footage;
Reporting disturbances to the client.

For the Security Control Center (SCC) at Schiphol, we are looking for security officers with demonstrable dispatch experience or security officers who already have experience as a (patrol) security officer at Schiphol and are ready for the next step.

Do you currently work as a dispatcher, camera observer, security operator, or as a (patrol) security officer at Schiphol? And does working at one of Europe's busiest airports appeal to you? Then we would love to meet you!

Training

You will be fully prepared for your position within the SCC. You will follow, among other things:

Basic Training in Civil Aviation Security;
Control room and camera training;
Surveillance (airside and landside);
Alarm response and GWD;
Onboarding process with guidance.

Do you have extensive experience in a security control room, but no experience yet as a patrol officer at Schiphol? Then you will start with a practical track within the patrol. This way, you will get to know the airport, the processes, and the operation well. Subsequently, you will transition into the Security Control Center.
