The role

Who we are
We are Sanday, the digital healthcare connectors. For more than 40 years, we have been developing innovative software solutions, from and for healthcare. Our dream? To give healthcare more space. We believe in an open ecosystem with smart technology. That is why we build our new, smart, open Sanday platform every day. This is how we want to stay ahead: the best product for a fair price. We are open, innovative, collaborate, and create space! We do this from our office in Utrecht and our location in Lisbon.

What you'll do

What you will do
As an experienced information analyst, you will work on the further development of Sanday Pharmacy. You will focus on the business operations of the pharmacy organization: logistical processes, financial flows, and chain collaboration.

You will analyze how pharmacies and chains organize their operations and income—from inventory and distribution to contracting, declarations, and financial processing—and translate this practice into clear, actionable functional solutions.

In doing so, you will not analyze datasets yourself or perform development. However, you do understand the technical context and actively contribute ideas regarding what is functionally and technically feasible. In this way, you connect process, system, and business operations, ensuring that choices in the product are logical and explainable.

As an information analyst, you will:

  • translate input from healthcare providers and colleagues into structured user stories and acceptance criteria;

  • contribute ideas regarding priorities and safeguard the functional scope within your development team;

  • align content and feasibility with developers, product owners, and other analysts;

  • verify whether the delivered solution is logical, usable, and functional for the user;

  • actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the analyst team and coordination with external parties.

You will be given plenty of space and trust to fill your role independently. Within your development team, you are the substantive extension of the product manager, essentially a kind of delegated product owner.

Requirements

Who are you
With your experience as an information analyst, you are a strong interlocutor who knows how to switch excellently between different interests in a complex environment. You make sharp assessments and dare to make substantively and technically substantiated choices. In doing so, you understand that a solution must be both functionally and technically feasible.

You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and actively seek collaboration with colleagues. In complex situations, you bring calm and direction and ensure clear communication, making everything clear before the sprint begins. You feel completely at home in an Agile environment, where you not only contribute ideas but also help determine the direction. You think conceptually, but always keep an eye on practical execution.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • a HBO or WO degree, preferably in IT or healthcare;

  • at least two years of experience as an information analyst or in a similar role (preferably within healthcare IT).

  • experience within the pharmacy domain or demonstrable knowledge of financial and logistical processes;

  • knowledge of methods and techniques to analyze and specify processes, system behavior, interactions, and data structures;

  • good communication skills in both Dutch and English, enabling you to communicate effectively with everyone, whether they are developers or healthcare providers;

What you get from us
We attach great value to an informal working atmosphere in which everyone can be themselves. We also find a good balance between work and private life important. Therefore, we work hybridly and offer flexible working hours.

You also receive:

  • a salary of €4,500 to €5,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on your knowledge and experience;

  • an annual contract with a view to permanent employment;

  • 26 vacation days based on 40 hours (with the option to purchase more), extra leave for anniversaries, one day off per year for volunteer work, and 8% holiday allowance;

  • a good pension scheme with Zwitserleven, where we pay the largest part of the premium;

  • every month a personal choice budget of 7.5% of your gross monthly salary, which you can have paid out, use for extra vacation days, or spend on, for example, your gym membership;

  • travel allowance of €0.23 per km or an NS-Business Card;

  • a generous training and education budget. We love to invest in your brain;

  • a laptop, home office allowance, and a contribution toward your home workspace;

  • member-gets-member scheme with a bonus for referring a new colleague;

  • a company masseuse, fanatic foosball opponents, and a convivial staff association with outings, barbecues, brunches, and drinks;

  • many fun and engaged colleagues with an IT heart for healthcare.

I want this!
