Support Specialist Pharmacy Software (24-40 hours)

What you will do
As a support specialist, you are the point of contact for pharmacies working with Sanday. You help users with questions regarding the pharmacy information system (PIS), analyze where processes stall, and think along about suitable solutions. In this way, you ensure that pharmacies make optimal use of our software. In doing so, you will build knowledge of the daily processes within the pharmacy, such as prescription processing, medication monitoring, logistics, and billing.

You will:

• support pharmacists and pharmacy assistants with questions about the PIS and linked processes (via telephone and tickets);

• analyze reports and determine where processes stall (e.g., prescription entry, medication monitoring, logistics, dispensing, and billing);

• think along about the configuration of pharmacy processes in the PIS (such as workflow, protocols, inventory management, labeling, and repeat prescriptions);

• collaborate with colleagues from support, software development, product management, and implementation to implement structural improvements and translate recurring issues into improvement proposals;

• register incidents, wishes, and service requests and monitor progress.

What you bring  
You are an experienced support professional who gets energy from helping users and solving complex issues. You ask the right questions, communicate clearly, and remain calm, even when pressure increases. You enjoy delving into processes, have an affinity for (primary) healthcare, like to work together, and think along about structural improvements. 

What else you bring as a support specialist pharmacy software:

• at least 3 years of recent work experience in a support role, preferably gained within a software or IT environment; 

• a customer-oriented and analytical attitude;

• good command of the Dutch language.

The world of the pharmacy is multifaceted and involves complex processes. We do not expect you to know them already. However, we do expect you to have the motivation and perseverance to delve into the daily processes within the pharmacy and our pharmacy information system, so that you can master them step by step.

The position can be filled both full-time and part-time. In any case, we would like to see you in the office 2 days per week; on the remaining days, you can work from home.

• salary: €2,700 to €3,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on your experience;

• an annual contract with a view to permanent employment;

• 26 vacation days based on 40 hours (with the option to purchase more), extra leave for anniversaries, one day off per year for volunteer work, and 8% holiday allowance;

• travel allowance of €0.23 per km or an NS-Business Card; 

• a good pension scheme with Zwitserleven, in which we pay the largest part of the premium;

• every month a personal choice budget of 7.5% of your gross monthly salary, which you can have paid out, use for extra vacation days, or spend on, for example, your gym membership;
