We look explicitly at potential, interest, and motivation. You don't have to be able to do everything, but you recognize yourself in this:

• A completed HBO or WO degree in an IT direction (for example, Computer Science, Technical Informatics, Software Engineering, or Business IT & Management)
• 3 to 5 years of work experience within the IT domain, of which at least 2 to 3 years in an analyst role (business analyst, information analyst, or functional designer), preferably in an IT-driven environment
• Experience with analyzing issues and translating them into solutions within an IT landscape
• The ability to recognize and structure the question behind the question
• Affinity with data, information flows, and the possibilities that AI offers for both clients and the analyst profession itself
• Fluent command of the Dutch language (C1/C2), oral and written
• Strong communication skills and the ability to bring stakeholders along

• You have worked with models such as BPMN, UML, or ArchiMate (or similar methodologies)
• You have experience in agile or DevOps environments
• You switch smoothly between business stakeholders and IT teams
• You can explain complex issues clearly to colleagues without a technical background
• You are already experimenting with AI tools in your work and have an opinion on what does and does not work

Organizations are increasingly looking to take steps towards data-driven working and AI. In practice, this proves more difficult than expected: data is scattered across systems, processes do not align, and no one has exactly the same view of the problem. At the same time, the analyst profession itself is changing at a rapid pace: AI tools are taking over more and more routine analytical work, causing the real value to shift toward asking the right questions, structuring complexity, and making sharp choices.

You step in at the moment when organizations get stuck. You bring structure to the complexity and ensure they can move forward again.

Important: this is NOT a BI or data analyst role. You do not build dashboards and do not work with tools like Power BI or Tableau. The focus lies on understanding information, structuring data, and translating that into IT solutions.

• You fathom the organization, processes, and the underlying information domain
• You map out information flows and data concepts
• You perform analyses (IST/SOLL, gap analyses)
• You determine opportunities for improvement and provide direction to solutions
• You translate business needs into concrete IT solutions
• You coordinate with stakeholders and guide decision-making
• You help clients make their ambitions regarding data and AI concrete: sharpening use cases, mapping out prerequisites, and determining a realistic path to implementation

In many assignments, the problem is not yet sharply defined beforehand. You will receive a job description, but you will have to discover and make explicit the core of the issue yourself. This requires you to analyze independently, make choices, and continuously adjust throughout the assignment.

You work for large public and private organizations where information provision, digitalization, and data play a crucial role, from designing information chains to preparing AI applications. You work closely with architects, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

The impact of AI on the analyst profession works both ways, and in both ways we are actively moving with it:

• With our clients, AI brings new challenges: which processes are suitable for AI support, what data is needed, how do you set up governance, and how do you make a use case concrete and feasible? You are the one who helps to sharpen those questions.
• In your own work, we increasingly use AI tools to make analyses, documentation, and modeling faster and better. We actively experiment with what works, from AI-supported requirements work to analyzing existing documentation and code. You will be given the space to help develop this and help determine what our profession will look like in a few years.
