Category Management Internship

In this internship, you are the link between what the customer wants, what the store offers, and who is responsible for turnover and margin. This also means ensuring we have the right products in the assortment, that meet our quality requirements and at a price that makes our customers happy. You will work in the Category Management department at the head office in Veghel.

• Having contact with suppliers regarding product data; you are in the lead here.
• Ensuring that colleagues from various internal departments such as purchasing, store communication, and marketing are informed about what is happening; you are the social multitasker.
• Handling matters regarding assortment, suppliers, promotions, and specific projects;
• Collecting, selecting, maintaining, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting commercial data;
• Being the point of contact for all stakeholders, both internal and external.

You will also speak with more colleagues outside your unit, such as colleagues from purchasing, store communication, and marketing, for example.

At Category Management, we have divided all categories into different units. We have internship positions available within the units:

• Chilled & Frozen
• DKW Drinks & Care
• DKW Food & Impulse
• An HBO/WO student, preferably in the direction of Marketing or Economics.
• Available from late January/early February 2027 for 32-40 hours per week.
• Looking for a working internship or a graduation internship (working at least 3 days, so there is also room for your assignments from school).
• An internship allowance of €541,- per month based on 40 hours.
