What we're looking for

You have at least 8 years of relevant experience as an SAP application manager/consultant, with knowledge of PP. Knowledge of SAP PPDS is a major plus. Experience with IBP, MM, and EWM is also valuable.
You have a completed HBO/WO degree, with excellent knowledge of production processes; experience in the process industry and/or FMCG is a plus.
You view the SAP landscape (focus on production) with a helicopter view, translate functional requirements into "best practice" SAP solutions, and are hands-on when necessary.
You can combine structure with pragmatism, and can think along outside the boundaries of your (SAP) domain.
You are able to think in terms of processes and involve the supplier in the Royal Swinkels change and incident management process.
You are communicatively skilled in Dutch and English, customer-oriented, and result-oriented.
Knowledge of ITIL, Business Process Management, and Agile/Scrum is a plus.

The role

Royal Swinkels has recently undergone a major digital transformation, with a significant role played by the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. The next step is to use this modern technological foundation to make our processes even smarter and more effective. As SAP Application Manager PP, you are responsible for the Plan, Schedule & Produce to Stock domain (PSPS). You will join an experienced team of Application Managers, work directly with business stakeholders, and report to the Business IT Manager - Supply Chain.

What you'll do

You are responsible for the production/manufacturing domain within our SAP S/4HANA environment and adjacent systems. From architecture to implementation, continuous development, and management. The focus lies on SAP PP.
You safeguard designs and architecture around the SAP production domain.
You speak the language of the business and know how to translate functional requirements into technical solutions, in order to optimize our production processes.
You guide the configuration, testing, and setup of new or modified business processes in SAP S/4HANA.
You analyze system usage and make proactive improvement proposals, together with business and IT partners.
You also look beyond SAP S/4 HANA toward optimizing our IT/OT landscape, and contribute your SAP expertise to adjacent systems such as QM, LIMS, or MES.
You work together with colleagues and external suppliers to resolve incidents efficiently and improve our management processes.
