(Senior) Mechanical Maintenance Technician Day Shift

As a mechanical maintenance technician, you will work on the day shift and you will get to work on both older and state-of-the-art machines. In addition to adequate maintenance of the machines, you will also contribute ideas for optimizations and ultimately implement them so that the installations and machines work even better. • Keeping the production installations, machines, (auxiliary) equipment, and facilities operational according to set goals, (safety) requirements, and standards;

• Performing all occurring maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and modificative);

• Reporting findings/remarks following the maintenance activities, with the aim of continuous improvement;

• Repairing, overhauling, inspecting, and making improvements and adjustments to the production installations, machines, transport systems, and associated peripheral equipment;

• Analyzing and resolving malfunctions, investigating the cause, and coming up with improvement proposals to prevent these malfunctions in the future.

You will be working in the Site Maintenance department, which is responsible for all technical maintenance at the Rockwool Roermond Site. Together with approximately 125 colleagues, you will ensure that production continues to run well. You will work in a team of 8 to 10 technicians and have daily work meetings with your supervisor and colleagues. Additionally, there are more than sufficient opportunities to grow into roles such as senior technician, work planner, or team leader.

• Completed vocational education (mbo) level 3 or 4 in mechanical engineering;

• Demonstrable practical experience and knowledge in the field of industrial maintenance;

• Ability to work in a project-based manner, in a team, but also independently;

• Ambition to continue developing and increasing knowledge by following relevant courses and training.
