What we're looking for

ABOUT YOU
With your understanding of logistics systems and processes, you carry out tasks related to sea freight forwarding. You have at least 1 year of experience in export sea freight (FCL and LCL). The Forwarding Operator we are looking for is customer-oriented, flexible, works well in a team and works accurately. You have an mbo-level education and a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

The role

What You Can Expect:

Set your compass to Rhenus and sail with us! For our sea freight EXPORT department in Rotterdam (Eemhavenweg), we are looking for a customer-oriented and energetic Forwarding Operator. You will join a passionate and close-knit Export team of seven colleagues, where young talent and experienced professionals strengthen each other, in a dynamic working environment where you can grow and learn a lot.

FUNCTION
In the role of Forwarding Operator, you will ensure the optimal fulfillment of customer wishes regarding the Export product. You will perform operational, administrative, and commercial activities. These activities consist of accepting bookings, planning transports, handling documentation, and maintaining international and national contact with customers, agents, and carriers.
