You book international transports, communicate with carriers, and ensure shipments arrive at their destination on time. Do you maintain an overview when planning changes and do you like to ensure that everything is correct? Then this job as a freight forwarder at DSV is for you.

Carrying the responsibility for a smooth and correct flow of our customers' transports. Every shipment on time at the right destination, with the right information and documents: you work on it.

How do you do this? You check the data, follow the customer's instructions, and ensure that all information regarding the shipment is entered correctly in the system. You check the necessary customs documents and CMRs and pass the order on to one of our carriers. At the same time, you coordinate with colleagues from the forwarding department. Meanwhile, you receive a request from customer service to provide a rate for a return shipment from abroad. For more complex questions, you can count on the senior freight forwarder and the supervisor freight forwarding.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the smooth organization of all our transports. You ensure that shipments depart and arrive on time, and are handled without administrative errors. You achieve this by:

• booking and following up on international transports via various modalities, according to the agreements with the customer;
• checking and processing shipment data, customs documents, and CMR waybills in the systems and transport portals;
• coordinating rates, collection and delivery times with carriers, and informing customers and colleagues about progress and any changes;
• maintaining transport overviews and reports and timely signaling delays or missing information.

Especially between 11:00 and 15:30, when many transports are booked, and at the end of the month, the pace is high. You set priorities, remain accurate, and seek collaboration to complete the work well.
