ROLE SUMMARY Planner Exceptional Transport € 3,300 - € 5,300 gross per month (depending on experience) Location Schiedam Are you an experienced planner who loves puzzles and quick decision-making? For our exceptional transport projects, we are looking for someone who gets energy from complex challenges. With us, it is all about heavy, exceptional modular transport: moving enormous components with SPMTs (Self-Propelled Modular Transporters) and conventional modular trailers. You will lead a team of approximately 15 operators and drivers. This requires a planner who not only has logistical insight but also stands firm in their shoes and can maintain an overview. WHAT YOU WILL DO Planning and coordinating heavy transport for various projects within Europe, with occasional deployment at global locations. In this role, you are responsible for the efficient deployment of personnel and material; Arranging all necessary paperwork, such as permits and exemptions, and ensuring everything is legally correct; Coordinating with customers, project managers, and engineers to ensure the planning aligns seamlessly with project requirements; Monitoring and coordinating the availability and deployment of material and equipment, and timely identifying which resources are required for ongoing and future projects. Adjusting and correcting the planning in case of changes or unexpected situations; Administrative processing in our systems (such as time registration and permit applications); Maintaining relevant data and reports, such as evaluations and assessments; After a thorough onboarding period, you will participate in the on-call rotation. WHAT YOU NEED Minimum MBO working and thinking level with demonstrable experience in a similar role within the transport sector; Knowledge of transport legislation (driving times, permits, exemptions); Experience with exceptional and modular transport is a plus; You are stress-resistant, maintain an overview, and can switch gears quickly; You stand firm in your shoes and are decisive; Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written; Experience with Excel and/or SAP is a plus; Flexibility in working hours (periodic availability outside office hours).
