Requirements

What we're looking for

A completed MBO education (level 3) in the direction of Vehicle Technology, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
Demonstrable work experience as a mechanic or technician, with specific and hands-on experience in building and/or maintaining:
- Fuel engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical wiring
Excellent technical insight and the ability to read complex technical drawings and diagrams.
Accurate, quality-oriented, proactive, and a true team player
The ability to provide a positive Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is a condition for appointment.

Languages

Good command of the Dutch language; knowledge of English and/or German is a strong plus

The role

For the production of our latest, high-tech military vehicles, Rheinmetall Defence Nederland BV is looking for driven Pre-assembly Monteurs.

In this challenging role, you are responsible for the preparatory construction and assembly of crucial subcomponents and systems that are later placed into the vehicles.

What you'll do

Mounting and assembling subcomponents and vehicle parts based on technical drawings and work instructions
Building Powerpacks (engines & transmission), hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, braking systems, vehicle preparation, etc.
Performing quality controls and functional tests to meet the strictest safety standards
Analyzing and independently resolving technical deviations during the pre-assembly process
Communicating with production, engineering, and quality management within a LEAN working environment
