HR Officer

Do you want an HR role with plenty of variety, responsibility, and room for your own initiative?

In the role of HR Officer, you will deal with a wide range of HR issues: from setting up and optimizing smooth (administrative) processes within the plant to independently rolling out HR processes surrounding Performance Management, Talent Development, working conditions, and various HR projects.

Additionally, you are the HR sparring partner for both employees and managers. You are visible on the shop floor, know what is happening, and translate developments and needs into concrete HR solutions. You work for two plants (Zoetermeer and Bodegraven), which means you experience a lot of variety in your work and continuously switch between different teams, colleagues, and situations.

• The management and coordination of all administrative tasks regarding onboarding, internal movement, and offboarding, anniversaries, absenteeism, and keeping the complete personnel file up to date.
• The onboarding process of new employees.
• Providing support during the offboarding process, such as conducting exit interviews and data analysis to gain insight into specific concerns or trends.
• Payroll administration; monthly preparation of salary changes.
• Support and independent rollout of recurring annual HR topics such as the performance cycle, Great Place to Work, culture program, or Employer Branding.
• Continuous improvement of both the HR department and digitized processes, and identifying improvements for further automation.
• Timely and accurate entry, extraction, and reporting of information for KPIs and management reports (absenteeism, FTE, leave) using various HR systems.
• Keeping the terms and conditions handbook up to date.

You will join a small and dedicated HR team consisting of an HR Officer, Sr. HR Business Partner, Corporate Recruiter, and Absence Case Manager. Together, you are part of the larger Benelux HR team, making it easy to share knowledge, collaborate, and learn from one another.

You are an energetic and accessible person with ambition, drive, and a proactive approach. You take initiative, work independently, and know how to switch quickly without losing the overview. You show ownership, think in solutions, and keep an eye on both daily practice and HR objectives. Additionally, you want to continue developing yourself and see plenty of opportunities to grow within the organization and take on increasing responsibility.

• HBO working and thinking level. Preferably with a completed degree in HRM.
• Drive & ambition. You have a passion for the HR profession, are involved, and get energy from new challenges. You want to continue developing yourself and are ambitious to grow, both in your role and within the organization.
• Professional knowledge. A few years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a dynamic production or logistics environment.
• Language & communication. You communicate easily and clearly and have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Flexibility. You are flexible and find it no problem to be present in both Zoetermeer and Bodegraven. You are willing to switch between both locations.
