ROLE SUMMARY Junior Mechanic for Mammoet equipment €2,800.00 and €3,500.00 gross base salary per month (depending on experience) Working in Schiedam Have you always wanted to understand how machines work and keep them in top condition? Our cranes, trailers, trucks, and other equipment are essential to our operations, and you play an important role in ensuring they always function properly. As a mechanic, you ensure our machines are ready for use, so we can continue doing what we do best! Is your curiosity greater than your experience? No problem! If you are motivated to learn, we have everything in place to guide you toward a successful career as a mechanic. WHAT YOU WILL DO Maintaining and repairing special machines and transport equipment. In doing so, you look ahead and find smart solutions for technical challenges. Do you prefer working in the workshop every day, or do you seek variety with client and project locations? Do you like working nearby, or do you want to see the world? Everything is negotiable. Because of this, no two days are the same! You perform inspections and checks and ensure that the equipment looks and works according to our standards and instructions. Where necessary, you modify the equipment; Collaborating on innovative projects and contributing to the latest technologies, for example in new construction projects. Working with various techniques such as mechanics, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics. WHAT YOU NEED An education in the direction of mechanical engineering, automotive technology, mobile vehicles, agricultural mechanization, aircraft maintenance, or something similar. Good command of Dutch and English. A driver's license. An interest in our technology and the motivation to learn everything about the world of Mammoet. WHAT YOU GET A good base salary between €2,800 and €3,500 gross per month, depending on your work experience and knowledge. Extra net allowances according to the collective labor agreement (CAO), such as "coffee money" and overtime compensation. Opportunities to follow courses at our Mammoet Academy and obtain certificates, including VCA. Tailored guidance so that you are properly onboarded into the world of Mammoet.
