Pathologist

We are immediately looking for two colleagues who want to roll up their sleeves together with us! Who feels like building a new future? We are looking for enthusiastic, communicative, and flexible colleagues to come and structurally strengthen our club. Experience and/or interest in dermatopathology is desirable; other areas of focus can be discussed.

The Pathology department of Maastricht UMC+ is a very dynamic, academic department, innovative and distinctive in diagnostics and science. The Pathology laboratory was recently renovated into a modern and fully up-to-date laboratory and offers the entire spectrum of diagnostics. Key areas in the broad spectrum of research are oncology, cardiovascular diseases, and neuropathological diagnostics. Our department has been designated as a European Advanced Training Center in the field of dermatopathology by the European Society of Pathology.

• a BIG registration and/or in the final phase of training to become a clinical pathologist;

• experience/interest in the requested areas of focus;

• the ability to work in a team.

To start successfully in this role, it is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language (minimum B2 level) due to contact with, among others, patients and colleagues. Additionally, it is a condition that you are allowed to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA nationality or a valid work permit).

Depending on education and experience, a suitable salary offer will be made in accordance with the Cao umc.
This salary is exclusive of irregularity allowances, holiday pay, and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% of your gross annual salary.

This concerns an employment contract for a duration of 1 year, for an average of 32 to 40 hours per week in accordance with article 2.4.2 of the Cao umc.  Anticipating permanent employment, as this is a structural position.
