A challenging working internship at Toyota Waalwijk;

The role
Are you someone who loves to bring structure, make processes smarter, and prefers to put ideas into practice immediately? Then we have a great internship position for you! At Toyota Regio Brabant, you will get the chance to work with Lean and process optimization within our workshops. You will receive a lot of responsibility and see the direct result of your work! You will not do this alone; you will work together with Patrick Bekker, Aftersales Regional Manager.
What you'll do
During your working internship, you will work on improving and optimizing the daily activities within our workshops. These are the workshops in the Brabant region. Your base location is Waalwijk. You will apply the Lean methodology and help our colleagues to work more efficiently, clearly, and smarter.
5S methodology: you will work on applying the 5S method. Think of creating fixed locations for tools and materials, introducing structure, and making clear agreements about their use and return.
Process optimization: you will investigate how activities within the workshops can be organized more efficiently and where opportunities for improvement lie.
Implementation: you will not only stop at thinking of improvements, but you will also be given the space to carry them out yourself and actually implement them at the location.
Collaboration: you will engage in conversation with mechanics and colleagues to discover what challenges they face and how processes can be improved in practice.
What will you do?
In short: you get the chance to turn your ideas into concrete improvements and make a visible difference on the work floor!
What do we ask of you?
You are independent, like to take initiative, and enjoy working with different people. You look critically at existing processes and like to think outside the box.
Additionally:
You are following a higher professional education (HBO) program in a field such as Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Automotive;
You have a creative and analytical mindset;
You have strong communication skills and dare to address colleagues;
You can work independently and take responsibility for your projects;
You have an affinity for Lean and process improvement;
