What we're looking for

You want to develop yourself into an independent expert in your field with (construction) technical qualities. You work methodically and have an overview. Additionally:

You are following a 3rd-year MBO-4 program or HBO program in the direction of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Development, or Civil Engineering Design;
Knowledge of Autocad or Revit is a plus;
Proficiency in other (graphic) programs such as SketchUp or Photoshop is a plus;
Professional proficiency of the Dutch language.

What you'll do

As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support the Construction Project Leaders in creating drawings and in the work preparation for, among other things, interior design, renovation, and new construction projects. You will be part of the Louwman Facility & Estate department and will work in a team where collaboration is paramount!

As an Intern, you will work on, among other things, translating client wishes into a realistic design in collaboration with an architect or, where possible, yourself. Additionally, during this internship, there is also a focus on work preparation. You will actively support the project leaders on large projects. Think of creating and checking schedules, and drafting and requesting quotes.

You will also visit various locations together with the Project Leader to map out the existing situation and discuss the client's wishes. Within Louwman Facility & Estate, we are working on making our own real estate more sustainable; during your internship, the focus can also be placed on this!

About the company & team

Louwman Facility & Estate is the real estate and facilities department of Louwman Group. The department is responsible for the development, realization, management, and maintenance of a diverse real estate portfolio (50 owned locations and 95 leased locations).

Louwman Facility & Estate consists of three departments: Asset Management, Estate, and Facility Services. We are active throughout the country, but operate from our office in The Hague. At the Estate department, of which you will become a part, you will be involved in the creative developments / work preparations in the field of renovation and new construction projects, brand identity changes, and smaller renovations.
