The role

Are you an application administrator who looks beyond just the ticket box? Do you enjoy keeping applications running stably and regularly engaging in conversation with users within the business? Then we are looking for you!

What you'll do

As an Application Administrator, you ensure that our applications work well every day and are constantly getting a little bit better. Within the team, you will receive responsibility for your own Dealer Management System (DMS) and will switch between daily management, improvements, and contact with the business.

A large part of the time, you will be busy managing and monitoring the DMS and adjacent applications. You handle second- and third-line incidents, perform checks, and manage users and settings. Do you see that something can be done smarter, easier, or more efficiently? Then you take that on. You work out change requests, support releases and implementations, and coordinate testing with key users.

But you certainly won't be sitting behind your screen working through tickets all week. In fact, contact with the business is important in this role. You will regularly visit our locations, speak with key users and users, and thus gain a good understanding of what is happening in practice. You then translate that input into improvements in our applications and processes.

What will you do?

  • You handle and analyze second- and third-line operational issues and ensure a suitable solution.

  • You monitor the operation and availability of the applications and perform the necessary checks.

  • You identify opportunities for improvement and translate these into concrete changes.

  • You guide releases and implementations and coordinate testing with key users.

  • You coordinate with key users regarding what is happening, which improvements are needed, and where the priorities lie.

  • You liaise with IT colleagues and external suppliers and monitor the progress of activities.
