Bicycle Mechanic in the Netherlands

• Depending on your experience, the salary is between € 2.728 and € 3.476 gross per month (38 hours). Do you work 40 hours? Then these hours will be paid extra.

• You receive 24 vacation days per year (for full-time) and the possibility to purchase 2 extra working weeks.

• You receive 8% holiday allowance, paid monthly on top of your salary.

• Your pension is arranged via BPF Metaal & Techniek. Louwman pays 17.7% of the premium and you 10.28%.

• You receive € 0.23 travel allowance per kilometer. Are you coming by bicycle? Then you receive € 0.30 per kilometer. You also receive a mobility card for public transport and services such as the OV-fiets.

Will you be our new bicycle mechanic in Heerlen?
Do you love working with bicycles and do you ensure that every bike can get back on the road perfectly? For our workshop in Heerlen, we are looking for a skilled bicycle mechanic. In this role, you will work daily on various types of bicycles, from A-brand e-bikes to city bikes and cargo bikes. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that our customers can always cycle safely and with pleasure.

As a bicycle mechanic at Fietsvoordeelshop, you ensure that our customers' bicycles are always in top condition. From A-brand e-bikes to city bikes, cargo bikes, and children's bikes - you work with a wide assortment and deal with all aspects of bicycle maintenance and repair. Below is an overview of your most important tasks:

• Repair and maintenance of various types of bicycles: You perform daily maintenance services and repairs on different types of bicycles, including complex electrical systems of e-bikes. You have a sharp eye for detail and ensure that every bicycle functions perfectly after your treatment.

• Preparing new bicycles for use and assembling accessories: New bicycles come to you for the final check and assembly. You make them 100% ready to ride, assembling accessories such as panniers, child seats, and special parts according to the customer's wishes.

• Performing diagnoses and solving technical problems: You have the ability to perform quick and accurate diagnoses of technical problems and know how to offer efficient solutions. You actively think along about optimizing bicycle performance and advise customers where necessary.

• Customer contact and advice: Occasionally, you have direct contact with customers in the workshop. You answer their questions, provide advice on maintenance and potential upgrades, and ensure a positive experience during every visit.

• Working in a dynamic workshop: No two days are the same with us! The workshop offers a dynamic and varied environment in which you can work independently, but also collaborate extensively with your colleagues.
