Temporary deployment as a freelancer (ZZP'er) is negotiable. In the long term, we strive for a permanent team of application administrators in employment.
Are you the one who helps colleagues when the EHR just isn't doing what it should? Do you think not in technical complexities, but rather in practical solutions that make healthcare run better? Do you have experience with an Electronic Health Record (preferably EMMA) and do you feel at home in a dynamic healthcare organization? Then we would very much like to meet you.
To continue to guarantee and further develop our services, we are expanding our team of application administrators. Due to the growth of our NOK Clinics and NOK locations, innovations, and other developments, we are looking for two new colleagues who want to make a direct impact. Together, you will continue to build on the development of EMMA and ensure that our healthcare professionals are optimally supported in their daily work.
Your challenge
The Netherlands Obesity Clinic has been working with the Electronic Health Record EMMA (supplier Timeff) for a few years now. The foundation is in place, but our organization is growing rapidly, and with that come new challenges. No two days are the same. That is exactly what makes this position challenging.
We are therefore not looking for a classic IT professional, but someone who understands healthcare, easily connects with colleagues on the shop floor, and knows how to realize practical solutions. You will be visible at our locations, listen to users, identify bottlenecks, and ensure that the EHR aligns optimally with daily practice.
Together with two colleagues, you will be the primary point of contact for EMMA within our organization. You will support colleagues with questions, think along about improvements, and ensure that new employees get off to a good start. You will provide user instructions and training, so that colleagues can start working with EMMA quickly and with confidence.
In addition, together with the team, you are responsible for the NOK Helpdesk. Questions and requests from users and superusers often come to you first. You analyze the request, think in practical solutions, and ensure that colleagues can quickly get back to work. When necessary, you coordinate with the supplier or other colleagues to reach the best solution. It is precisely that combination of supporting, improving, training, and thinking along that makes this position so varied.
Do you recognize yourself in this, but is your job title currently, for example, Functional Administrator, EHR Administrator, Healthcare Administrator, Functional Application Administrator, Key User, or have you gained a lot of experience with an EHR from another role? Then we expressly invite you to apply. For us, your affinity with healthcare, practical attitude, and ability to help users further are more important than your current job title.
Managing and further developing the EHR EMMA.
Supporting users and key users with questions and problems.
Translating wishes from healthcare into practical solutions within the EHR.
Setting up and managing user rights, processes, and functionalities.
Testing new releases and changes.
Identifying opportunities for improvement and taking them on independently.
Coordinating with the supplier (TimeFF), ICT, and colleagues at the various locations.
Regularly visiting our clinics to remain well-connected to the practice.
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the NOK Helpdesk and handle questions and requests from users and superusers.
You analyze reports, resolve them independently, or escalate them to the supplier when necessary.
You ensure that users feel heard and keep them informed of the progress.
Who are you?
You get enthusiastic about improvement and enjoy being in the middle of the organization. You do not need to have in-depth technical IT knowledge; more importantly, you understand systems quickly, are curious, and enjoy collaborating with the healthcare professionals who work with them.
Curious and/or want to apply?
